Lea Stein - geometrische 60's broche

Een kleine, heel vroege 60's broche van Lea Stein. Een vierkante, geometrische, gelaagde broche, zoals bekend van Lea Stein in mosgroen met wit. 

In principe is Lea Stein gemerkt, echter, met uitzondering, écht uitzondering van sommige heel vroege exemplaren. Ook hebben de broches in principe een V-sluiting. Bij heel hoge uitzondering kan dit een sluiting zijn zoals bij deze broche, een buissluiting.

Zoals staat aangegeven in het boek over Lea Stein, geschreven door Judith Just:
'In the world of jewelry, the name Lea Stein Paris now receives recognition as the most notable and innovative designer of plastic jewelry in the 20th century. Her use of sculptured laminated celluloid in many novel combinations of textures, colors, and designs resulted in her whimsical and colorful world of original animals, people, and geometric delights.'

Very early, green and white geometric layered 60s brooch by Lea Stein. Very first period, not signed and different closure then the usual V-shape. In good vintage condition with tiny scratches on lower green layer.
