The line of exquisite jewelry with the brand name ‘Goldette’ was launched in 1958 by the ‘Circle Jewler Products Company’ which company was established by Ben Carter in 1955.
The jewelry was traditionally produced in Rhode Island but designed in New York.
Goldette had a unique style resembling the Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Victorian era designs using silver and gold tone alloys, art glass, natural shell for the cameos as well as rhinestones and cabochons. Not all jewelry is marked but many items are not too hard to recognize them by their style and quality.
There is not much information available on the company which cesaed to exist in 1977.
